A Note From the Toddler Classroom
We would like to welcome back all of our little friends!
Parents, please be sure to label any new clothing that comes into the classroom, and please return any socks or mittens that have been borrowed from our supply. Thank you.
We will spend the first week back re-orienting the children to the classroom.
Miss Donna from the Chatham Kent Public Library will be coming to our class at some point this month, to read special stories to us!
January Birthdays!
Ethan Anjema (4) – 16th
Brian Bertin-Martin (6) – 19th
Ashton Hundt (4) – 30th
Happy Birthday from your friends at Montessori!
A Special Thank You to….
All of the families who donated mittens for the Mitten Tree and food for the Outreach for Hunger food drive. Your generosity makes a HUGE difference in our community!
A Note From the Casa Classrooms
Welcome back students! We hope you had a wonderful holiday!
The children who bring lunches to school are welcome to bring leftovers to be warmed up a little. If you choose to send macaroni cup we ask that you prepare it at home the night before and divide it into two smaller containers, as most children do not eat the entire package in one sitting. This will shorten the warm-up time, leaving more time for your child to finish their lunch. Thank you for your cooperation!
We are very excited about our upcoming Field Trip to the Cultural Centre on Wednesday, January 18th! Please have your child at the school at 9:00 am SHARP so we can get organized and leave by 9:15 am.
January 23rd and 24th are Sled Days, weather permitting! Please bring a sled with your child, if you have one! If the weather does not co-operate, we will try again other days later this same week.
If you’d be willing to leave your sled here for the week, just in case, we’d really appreciate it! Thanks!
Please Remember…
to ensure your child has warm clothes here as the children play outside throughout the day. Please send extra mittens. We want the children to enjoy the snow while it’s here!
Also, PLEASE remove your boots at the bottom of the stairs when you come in. The floors get wet and slippery quickly and we do not want anyone to get hurt.
Thank you for your co-operation.
